The wind plays tricks with us. 3 days out here and only 126 nm away from the bay. At the moment we’re sailing north. Yep absolutely right. That’s not where we wanted to go. But the wind shifts from 270° to 350° and varies in strength from as low as 3kn to nice and breezy with 15kn. We’re squeezing every degree to the west out of ZERO. Pointing so high into the wind showed us where room for improvements in our storage system is and we restored a few things today. And I gotta admit is looks way better now. We’re still loaded to the tops but now we don’t have to step over boxes with oats, pasta or flour anymore to get to our cabin.
Fay directed TAIICHI and me with her dinner plans after cutting off a piece of her thumb instead of the potatoes and we had to use the well stocked first aid kit for the first time since departure. I guess we’re all a bit tired after sailing heeled over so much for 3 days now. But at least we’re not rolling much. Our hopes are lying in the predicted windhift to the north tonight.. fingers crossed.. Aloha
