Aloha,
check our new video.
It´s about the time we spend in the Sea of Cortez. We sailed from Guaymas to San Carlos and stayed a couple days at Playa Los Alogodonas, where we met Adrian and his Brother. They invited us to join their wakeboard session and Frank and me had a great morning surfing the wake. Then we crossed the Sea of Cortez pretty straight from East to West and cruised along the beautiful coastline of Baja California Sur. Of course we stopped in La Paz. La Paz is a true Cruiser-Heaven. You can anchor in the huge bay, it´s absolute sheltered and got pretty much all facilities a sailor may need. Of course it´s packed with boats, but still chillie as well. That´s why some cruiser never leave La Paz. We met our friend Jerrit from San Diego there and spend a lot of money in the marine store to get some needful things.
Back in Cabo San Lucas we anchored right next to LACUNA and EQUINOX. Lars and Max from LACUNA were heading to La Paz and Yale from EQUINOX to Hawaii like us. We had a nice time together diving for anchors, drinking some good mexican beer or doing backflips from our radar arch. If not already happend, we finally relaxed a little after the enormous amount of working before.
But on the other side I felt a cold hand in my neck grabbing at me when thinking about the 2700 nautical miles to Hawaii..
