we tied our dinghy to the pier and walked away to find some surf. When we came back. We found our dinghy submerged. Completely!!!
So sad that we bought a new ( ok it’s used but new for us) outboard motor YESTERDAY!!!
And of course it was on the ground as well.
I hope Chris ( a local mechanic) can rescue the engine and bring it back to life.
I would love to tell you that the waves were so good that we had a good day anyway. But unfortunately they weren’t.
Frank hit a rock and got a big cut on his hand and I saw fins close to me in the water that doesn’t look like dolphins?! So we went out just after we paddled out.
Damn!!!
Well.. Let’s see what tomorrow holds for us.
Drücke die Daumen. Kleiner Trost – gestern Abend von 10 Schiffen die zurück in die Marina kamen – 5 dinghy platt. Haben die Woche bei einem Weltumsegler eine kleine Plastikschüssel gesehen – sogar mit Elektromotor. Fand ich auch eine gute Idee. Aber ihr hattet es nun mal – irgendwann geht alles kaputti.
HEY Lulatsch! Hab Ich Dier nicht gesagt to get an INFLATABLE !? Aber NEIN aber nein, der Herr weiss ja immer alles besser.
