I lifted anchor today to sail to Kauai. It’s around 100 nm from Kaneohe Bay to Nawiliwili. I cleared ZEROs decks the whole morning and put all stuff downstairs away so this time it should be way better.

Because Rebecca needed to fly home to Germany this will be my first singlehanded sailing on ZERO.

I’m out if the channel and have to face some pretty mean and huge waves here. They are very confused and steep so it’s s hard ride. I hope it gets way better when I’m free of the North cape. Then I can alter the course a lot..
Until then it’s a wet ride..
