Ahoy, our plan to sail for either Bodega Bay or San Francisco failed or is on hold at the moment. We had only very light winds and took longer than estimated. Now that the Storm, we were running from, turned out to be a Typhon with forecasted windspeeds up to 45-50 kn and waves over 20 ft we decided to make a stopover in Fort Bragg.
We arrived in nice sunny weather but probably will have the opposite tomorrow.
Except that we share the dock with a couple sea lions it is quite nice here..
We don’t know jet for how long we will be here and watch the forecast closely..
Aloha
I’m happy to hear you are in a safe harbor. The approaching storm is promised to bring much needed rain to Northern California.. This weather is coming out from the Hawaiian Islands and a typhoon further away. Stay safe. Thank you for your updates during your adventures..
